Archilochus Poems (page 83)

I took the existing fragments of Archilochus and re-imagined them as complete poems in the manner and character of Archilochus. It was a rewarding experience. I felt by the time I had finished the collection of some 300 pages that Archilochus was more real to me than an ancient literary figure. He was more like a lost friend come home.

On The Road To Aennyra
